When I first came to visit Deborah at the funeral home I was so upset and worried about the mammoth task ahead of me I was beside myself. After talking to Deborah the whole burden was instantly lifted and I knew I had made the right decision in choosing them. The care and compassion shown to me and my family before, during and after the service were second to none. They really did pull out all the stops. If you are looking for an affordable funeral with all the important trimmings and professionalism then Northern Cremations is for you. Your loved one could not be in better hands. Dads funeral was in April 2015 I couldn’t believe how much the cost of a funeral was for someone who demanded no fuss The fixed price funeral was well within our price and the dignity in which Debbie helped us was astonishing I felt immediately that I had left dad with the right person Even though Debbie had offered to do everything she also afforded us to take the music to the crematorium so we could have a look round Dad would of been pleased with the service from Debbie and Northern Cremations I even got a reassuring hug from her at the end I would and will recommend Debbie and Northern Cremations …in fact the family have been spreading the word already Thank you all

My mums husband sadly passed away and we as a family would just like to let everyone no how special this place is to us now… We can’t even put into words how fantastic Ashley is, he truly is one of the best guys we have ever met and made what was an impossibly hard situation that bit better by just being there for us and just being you Ashley!… Ashley you really are one of a kind your self just like you said my mum was… Your an inspiration and helped me more then I think you no and I thank you so much for it. And for the way you were with my mum your were just brilliant and I’m so glad we had you there with us to say are last goodbyes to Richard. The Best Funeral Home in Blackpool, probably in Lancashire. Anyone who has been blessed to be able to leave thier loved one in their care, there don’t have to worry because they are in very capable hands. This really helped me at the time. The family that own Northern Cremations were born to do this job. They are all amazing and most considerate family. My family mainly dealt with Ashley who was professional yet emotionally caring even my children really took to him and that doesn’t come easily from my girls.

I know members of my family have also done funeral plans with you because of your professionalism and sensitivity. We have recently lost a very much loved aunt, leaving us very distressed. We rang Northern Cremations , and Ashley and Charlotte arrived at the time they stated, which helped tremendously. They were so very kind to us , and very professional and explained everything , they made a very stressful time so much easier to bear. Testimonial I had arranged a funeral with another home but was upset when I was asked for all the added extra’s for a basic funeral. I went to the Cleveleys branch and spoke to Debbie. I immediately felt at ease. She offered me a veterans funeral for my dad with no hidden costs. The service went above and beyond what I expected. The Hearst did a drive by the Care Home where my dad was a resident, with an courtesy car for the staff. The service not only had the flag covering the coffin, there were also standard bearers and a singer who sang the last post. All the staff were very professional and friendly to our family. All my family were impressed at the service and I know my Dad would have loved all the pomp and ceremony. Thank you I will certainly recommend this family business to others as I already have done so.

As a family we want to say a huge thank you to Charlotte, you made the process of arranging our Mum’s funeral very easy even during the Covid-19 restrictions. You were there when we needed to ask questions and explained how the new world works in regards to the restrictions at the crematorium, the respect and dignity you showed our Mum was what we needed during this difficult time.

Nothing was too much trouble even collecting Mum’s belongings from the hospital for us, again another Covid restriction and when we thought we would not be able to see Mum, Ashley made a safe environment for us to pay or last respects, this meant the world to us. There are no words that can express how grateful we are to you; thank you just doesn’t seem enough. When all other funeral directors are taking advantage and increasing their costs, but lowering their standards, Charlotte and Ashley remain true to their family business and provide dignified and respectful funerals at a price that has not changed due to Covid. 5 stars to an amazing funeral directors.

Absolutely superb service from start to finish

Writing what I knew I’d have too one day, but it was many years too soon. After suddenly losing our father, we contacted NC. Debbie came to see us at a time convenient to us and in particular was very prompt in doing so.

We talked through various packages and ours and our fathers wishes, discussing all options available. We ended up with a cremation at the cemetery of our choice at a time and date that suited everybody.

During the process what stands out for me the most is that I wanted to see my father as much as I could before we laid him to rest. Debbie saw this possible and allowed me to visit him daily. No time in the day or weekend and whatever hour I wanted, she made available and this really did mean the world to me personally.

The funeral itself went as well as one could and collecting my father ashes also.

I couldn’t recommend Debbie and team more for helping us through this difficult time.

Nothing was to much trouble. When my friend arrived it was exactly as they said it would be. Andrew the official they recommended was great even taking his mum outside for a moment to get her breath. Debbie gave his mum a hug when she got there. And acknowledged me as I’d done all the arrangements. If your loved one should be looked after their parting it should be with them
